Aria Pro II PW40

I bought this at Gay’s Guitar Studio in Moultrie Ga, about 1975. Clayton (Gay) let me and a good friend (George Garcia) take 3 instruments to the back room so I could determine which I wanted. I don’t recall the 3rd model, but one was a Gibson Hummingbird. I don’t recall but I suspect that price had a part in the decision. This was my first serious guitar.

A guitar from the “lawsuit/C.F. Martin” era. An excellent guitar, something of a copy of a Martin D-45. (Thanks Mia for directing me to that story).
As it approaches 40 years I pulled it out (after 3 or 4 years), re-strung it and started playing (haven’t played much in about 3 years either).

I love this guitar as much as I do my Martin 12string, 1969.
Hope you enjoy the pictures :)

I have the same model; Aria Pro-II model PW-wo. The guitar is even more beautiful and sounds even better than when I bought it in 1976/7. I would never part with this guitar!
