Screened Tree

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.” – Albert Einstein

Everything you see or hear or experience in any way at all is specific to you. You create a universe by perceiving it, so everything in the universe you perceive is specific to you.” – Douglas Adams

I am a big fan of Adams (Hitchhiker’s trilogy, which is 4 books).
And a fan of Einstein (who wouldn’t be?).

I can understand a tree falling in the woods with no one around to witness not making a sound. After all, sound isn’t sound until the vibrations reach  the brain (as electrical signals).

But does the tree actually exist until someone (or something) is present to perceive it?

If we are not following others ideas, seeing things without influence … what a powerful force perception can be.

Step aside

And observe.

The universe is yours.
